Trademark Objection Reply
Why does the Trade Marks Registry raise an objection?
An objection may be raised if the trademark is similar to an existing mark, lacks distinctiveness, contains descriptive words, or does not comply with the provisions of the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Receiving an objection is a common part of the registration process and does not mean the application has been rejected.
What documents are required for filing a Trademark Objection Reply?
The required documents generally include the Examination Report, trademark application details, supporting evidence of trademark usage (if available), business documents, logo or brand details, and any additional documents required to support the legal response.
